Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has relaxed the curfew imposed seven days ago to 6pm-6am.
A release from his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita, on Friday night says the ease takes effect from Saturday 31 October, 2020 as there will be movement between the hours of 6am to 6pm daily.
The State capital has been on 4pm to 8am dusk to dusk curfew for the past fours days, a situation that has resulted to rush hours amongst residents.
Release in full: “The State Governor, His Excellency Sen. Ben Ayade has reviewed the curfew imposed on the State and has directed that with effect from Saturday, October 31, 2020, curfew hours will now be between the hours of 6pm and 6am daily. Restriction of movement is hereby relaxed from 6am to 6pm.”
