The Cross River State Auditor General, Mrs. Franca Inok has coax a pensioner, Mrs. Victoria Ewa to apologize for allegedly spearheading the Monday protest of pensioners declared dead by the Sen. Ben Ayade administration.
Following the pensioners resolve to barricade the Highway, the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mrs. Stella Odey came, apologized and seek forgiveness of the senior citizens and ensured the exercise commenced immediately.
Mrs. Ewa registered her name in the inventory of critics of the Government by joining Concerned Lawyers, #EndSARS and #RevolutionNow protesters to demand end of #PoliceBrutality and confirming a substantive Chief Judge by Governor Ayade and the Assembly.
In all protests she was vocal and always seen with her placards bearing inscriptions relating to pensioners plea which includes ending pension fraud, chaotic screening schedules and improved welfare.
After forcing her to apologize as a condition for her to be re-verified, instead of clearing her for five (5) months she was cleared for one. The Auditor General and a DSS personnel (identity yet to be verified) from the Governor’s office diktat words and video her as she apologized.
