“We had fruitful discussions on issues of common interest, including steps to resolve the crisis bedeviling our party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Cross River State.

“I am confident that the PDP will emerge from the crisis stronger and more cohesive in the State for the umbrella is large enough to accommodate everyone as one family.”

Though Governor Ayade didn’t disclose the business side of his meeting with his colleagues but they were taken round some treasured projects by this administration.

There has been infighting in the Cross River State PDP which has led to creation of two factions in the party; one loyal to the Governor and the other to a yet to be verified National Assembly member.

The crisis high point is the battle to replace Sen. Rose Oko who snatched by the cold hands of death by Hon. Jarigbe Agom and Sen. Stephen Odey.
