CALABAR: Man Kidnapped Through The Roof Of His House Rescued

The Anti Cultism and Kidnapping Squad of the Cross River State command of the Nigerian Police Force has rescued Ogwa Godwin Samuel who was kidnapped on Wednesday in Calabar.

Mr. Samuel was shoved through the roof of his home after his abductors toor the aluminum roofing sheet, broke his ceiling to get access to his house at Integro, 8 miles in the outskirts of Calabar metropolis.

And, after been tipped off, the ACKS Dragon squad led by SP Abdul Awodi began tracking the kidnappers where Samuel was rescued.

“We took the operation to a location, Etompke by Nasarawa, Bacoco, inside 8 miles on the outskirt of Calabar metropolis where the victim was taken to.

“While approaching the location, the suspects on sighting the police took to their heels as the operation was covert and they were caught off guard, the police could not react with actionable force because the location is a residential area,” a police source told Vanguard Newspapers.
