The Abo Bonabe community of Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State says it needs of NGN6 million to complete a self-help access bridge project.
The project requires over NGN8 million and about NGN2 million has been raised following concerted efforts led by the Councillor representing Abo ward, Pius Osang, the Abo Bonabe Concerned Indigene Multipurpose Cooperative Society and other well-wishers including CrossRiverWatch publisher, Agba Jalingo.
Work commenced last week on the mini bridge, which is the only access to the remote community.
And, Mr. Osang took to Facebook to solicit for more support.
Also, the cooperative society in an SOS, called on the government, Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), nongovernmental organizations and well-meaning Nigerians to aid them.
