Digital media heavyweight in Cross River State, CrossRiverWatch has called on aspiring or budding journalists in the State to enroll in its volunteering opportunity.

This was disclosed in a press release signed by its Managing Editor, Mr. Jeremiah Archibong said as the world diversifies into multimedia, there is a need to follow the trend and rebrand its contents.

Mr. Archibong said it is borne out of the desire to engage and satisfy the audience.

He implored interested persons to take advantage of the opportunity to fill the form below on or before 30th April 2022 which only 15 slots are available for the first batch.

The press release reads in part “In line with our zest to continue proffering solutions through our stories, we are rebranding to ensure our content meets all categories of audiences.

“We are in an era where multimedia content production is key in audience engagement, which informed our ongoing rebranding. Our content will no longer be just text or video or audio but all-in-one, in other words, multimedia.

“Every story will be a combination of text+podcasts+pictures, and video+text+podcast+pictures, just as you might have noticed since the beginning of April 2022. We had been experimenting with many new storytelling approaches in the past two years, now we are certain it’s time to take the game to the next level.

“Also, our Volunteer Cohort Program 2022 is open. The program aims to give opportunities to aspiring or budding journalists. This batch will accommodate 15 participants and will subsequently increase in the future.

“Those interested should please fill out the google form attached on or before 30th April 2022 via the link provided below.”
