The Cross River Internal Revenue Service, CRIRS, has reviewed its performance for the first quarter of 2022.

The quarterly performance review was held on the 9th of May, 2022. In the meeting where January, February, and March were assessed, the Executive Chairman of the agency, Mr. Akpanke Ogar encouraged staff to be more productive while he appreciated their efforts.

He also frowned at staff who were negligent. Mr. Akpanke warned that lackadaisical attitudes would not be condoned in the service going forward.

Speaking further he noted that office properties in staff possession should be treated with the utmost care they need and are not personal properties.

The Director of Administration, Mrs. Omini Esu advised all to be goal gathers.

She also pointed out the need for staff to be aligned to a particular job schedule that will actively engage them and motivate them to be result-driven.
