Following its ongoing inspection and commissioning of projects across the State, the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB has commissioned projects in schools across the Northern Senatorial District.
The Board which adopted a whole school approach at St. Benedict’s II primary school, Igoli, Ogoja Local Government Area commissioned the following projects: two rehabilitated 4 classroom blocks, a rehabilitated 5-classroom block, a perimeter fence and gate, a motorized borehole, ten newly installed solar lights and children playground equipment (swings and slides).
Other projects commissioned in Ogoja LGA include the rehabilitation of a 5-classroom block with offices and toilets at Police Children’s primary school, Igoli.
While in Bekwarra Local Government Area, the Board commissioned a 6-classroom block in St. Peter’s primary school Ebegang and a newly constructed 2-classroom block with 5 toilets and a children’s restroom for Early Child Care Development and Education Centre at Community Primary School, Atibulum, Gakem.
The projects were commissioned by the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Sen. Stephen Odey.
