Youths, women and men of Ikaptan community in Ogoja Local Government Area are currently protesting on the streets of Igoli against alleged invasion of their farm lands by Chinese miners.
According to information by sources on the ground, the protesters vehemently oppose releasing their farmland for mining activities.
“Say no to Chinese mining of our farm lands” and “we are self employed in our farm lands” were some inscriptions on their placards.
