Foreign National Escape Assassination In Cross River

A yet-to-be-named foreign national has escaped an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen in Cross River State.

The foreigner whose nationality is yet to be obtained at the time of filing this report was driving a Prado SUV jeep with plate number EKY777HT, Lagos was sprayed with bullets just before the rubber plantation at Uyanga, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Eyewitnesses say he was bleeding and drove into Cheriezk filling station helplessly. His vehicle tyres were torn to shreds while the car was all pierced with bullets,

The second person in the car is said to have escaped to safety also.

The police are being contacted for further details.
