APC Postpones Presidential Rally In Cross River, Fixes New Date

The All Progressive Congress has announced the postponement of its presidential rally billed to hold on Sunday 29th January, 2022, in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

Erasmus Ekpang, the Party’s Publicity Secretary in the state  in a statement made available to CrossRiverWatch said the party in the state will now prepare to receive its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday 31st January 2022 at the UJ Esuene Stadium.

The statement reads, “Following the necessary rearrangement of events, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross River State Chapter is inviting all Stakeholders, Leaders, Women, Men, Youths, Political support and interest groups and all well-meaning Cross Riverians in support of the APC Presidential Candidate, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC Flag bearers to the Presidential Campaign Rally in Cross River State.

“The Campaign rally which has been rescheduled from Sunday, 29th January, 2023, will now hold on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023 by 2:30pm prompt at the UJ Esuene Stadium and will be hosting leaders of our great Party within the State and from the National level.” it reads.

The release also encouraged party faithful to mobilize themselves to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Tinubu, “APC Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen. Kashim Shettima and other dignitaries from the APC Presidential Campaign Council.”
