The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Cross River State has declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Prince Bassey Otu as Governor-elect of Cross River State in the March 18th election.
The State Returning Officer of INEC, Prof. Teddy Charles Adias made the declaration at Mike Igini hall in Calabar, where he said Sen. Otu pulled a total of 258,619.
Sen. Otu won in fifteen (15) local government areas to be declared election while Sandy only clinched three LGAs. He defeated his closest rival, PDP’s Sen. Sandy Onor with 78,983 votes.
