The Department of Mass Communication University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has summoned sixty-seven (67) students over examination malpractice and other irregularities.
An invitation letter dated June 2, 2023, signed by the Chairperson of the Department’s Disciplinary Committee listed the registration numbers of the students, showing they range from year one to year four in the concluded first-semester examinations.
The Disciplinary Committee noted that further investigations are ongoing as the number will likely increase.
“To help with investigations into irregularities during exams, the under-listed are hereby invited to answer questions from the Departmental Disciplinary Committee.”
The invite warned that: ‘The indicated students are advised, in their interest, not to fail to show up. Date, time, and venue of appearance shall be conveyed in due course as this list will be updated at the end of year one first semester.”
