The 2023 Carnival Calabar Dry Run has been announced by the Cross River State Government.
In a press release signed and issued by the Executive Secretary of the State Carnival Commission Austin Cobham, states that the first dry run will be held on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 along the carnival routes.
The Second dry run will follow on 12th November 2023.
Similarly, the 3rd dry run is scheduled for 10th December 2023 while the children’s dry run is slated for 17th December 2023.
All dry runs are fixed by 1:30 p.m.
Members of the public, especially churches and event planners are advised to take cognizance of the dates and adjust their event times.
The statement further added that all routes would be partially closed and opened as carnival progresses.
