Governor Otu Makes  Appointment Into CUDA, CRISAA, One Other

The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has made appointments into three agencies – Calabar Urban Development Authority (CUDA); Scrap Metal Regulatory Agency (SMRA) and Cross River State Advertisement Agency (CRISAA).

The approved appointment was contained in a press release signed by Emmanuel Ogbeche, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Cross River State dated September 6, 2023 with reference number GO/PRESS/012/VOL.II/243.

It reads: “The Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the following appointments into the various agencies: Calabar Urban Development Authority (CUDA) with the following persons as appointees: Chief Ayi Etim Effiong- Executive Secretary; Gabriel Okon Etim as Director, Environmental Health; Mrs. Antigha Williams as Director, Maintenance; Eastern Edet Ekpenyong as Director, Waste Management, and Francis Cobham as Director, Open Space and Development.

Under Scrap Metal Regulatory Agency, the following persons are appointed: Captain Joseph Offiong as Director General; Babajide Emmanuel, Tete Anam, Emmanuel Umo Edet, Michael Eze, Adejemobi M. Adegboyezu, Nicholas Nyamagol, Ogbedu W. Ogbedu, all members while Pastor Donald Effiom as Secretary.

Under Cross River State Advertisement Agency (CRISAA) Ubong Sam as Director General, Bajie James Okukwe as Director, Hon. Asuquo Otop as Director and Harrison Bassey as Director.

According to the release, the appointments took effect and backdated September 1, 2023.
