Honorable Stanley Bassey Nsemo, a member representing Calabar Municipal State Constituency in Cross River State House of Assembly, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Bassey Otu, for his recent decision to reduce taxes imposed on traders in Ika Ika Oqua (Marian) market.
Nsemo said the move by Governor Otu comes as a welcome relief to the thriving business community at the renowned Ika Ika Oqua market.
According to him, “the governor’s decision to reduce taxes demonstrates his commitment to supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and promoting economic growth within the State.”
Honorable Nsemo recognized the significance of the governor’s gesture in his statement, stating: “I want to commend the Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu for his proactive approach in alleviating the burdens faced by our hardworking traders.
“The reduction of taxes at Ika Ika Oqua market will undoubtedly provide a much-needed boost to their businesses, encouraging growth and prosperity.”
