46th Matriculation Ceremony To Hold Friday As Scheduled – UNICAL Management

The Management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has reminded the school’s fresh students that the earlier announced 46th matriculation ceremony scheduled for Friday 26th, January 2024 will still be held.

A release issued by the University Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe, said the event is billed to be held at the Abraham Ordia Stadium and will commence at 10:AM Friday.

Faculty/Institute officers are directed to ensure matriculating students start procession at 8.30 AM while the Vice Chancellor’s procession will commence at 9.30 AM.

According to the release, Management has declared Friday, January 26, 2024, as a lecture-free day for all freshmen to enable them to participate fully.

The Provost, Deans, Directors of Institutes, and Heads of Departments as well as Heads of Units are to ensure strict compliance with the directive.

Members of the University Community and the Public are also by the notice invited to attend the ceremony.
