The Guru Innovation Hub in the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has marked its first anniversary, reflecting on the journey so far.
The celebration was held in the UNICROSS Calabar campus and witnessed a warm welcome from Stephen Amimi, the communication Manager and Co-founder who highlighted the significant milestones achieved over the year through persistent and hard work.
Guru Innovation Hub was founded on January 31, 2023, with a vision to incubate business, train students on technical skills, and inspire Innovation across Africa.

Attendees during the event reminisced about memorable events and breakthroughs that shaped their lives ever since the inception of the Hub.
The Founder, Mr. Oyo Effiom in his speech expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of the community and also charged the team to see 2024 as problem-solving and solution-building.
Highlights of the celebration were heartfelt speeches, a quiz, and a toast to the years done, by the Hub admin – Mary Joyous.
