NITDA Selects Guru Innovation Hub To Train Youths On 3MTT

Guru Innovation Hub in the University of Cross River State has been selected by the National Information Technology Development Agency Nigeria (NITDA) to train youths on the Three Million Technical Talents (3MTT) skills acquisition.

NITDA is charged with the responsibility of focusing on the responsibilities of the Agency on fostering the development and growth of Industrial Training in Nigeria with an effort towards ensuring that the IT policy’s implementation proceeds with maximum effectiveness.

NITDA also regulates, monitors, evaluates, and verifies progress on an ongoing basis under the supervision and coordination of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

At the orientation class held in Calabar, the founder of the Hub, Mr. Oyo Effiom highlighted the importance of technical skill training to youths and Cross Riverians.

In his words: “Our commitment is to the growth and advancement of the technological ecosystem in Cross River State; is in line with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of creating two million digital jobs by 2025, and we as an implementing partner will be putting Cross River State on the map.”
