Keep Off: NSCDC To Commence Shooting Range Practice In Cross River Community

The Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has warned residents to stay clear as the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will embark on shooting range practice.

In a press release signed and made available by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Irene Ugbo, for the Commissioner of Police in the State – CP Gyogon  Augustine, notes that the exercise will take place in Anyanganse, Akpabuyo Local Government Area.

It is billed to be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, by 8 AM.

The Command advises residents, farmers, traders, and the public to stay away from the environment to avoid being caught by stray bullets.

“This is to inform the general public that the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command will commence range practice at POLICE SHOOTING RANGE, ANYANGANSE in Akpabuyo Local Area.

“By this announcement, members of the public, all residents/farmers of the said environment are warned not to engage in any activity within the vicinity until the exercise is over. This is to avoid being caught by stray bullets, please.”
