“The fire started this afternoon at some minutes past 2:00PM,” an eyewitness (name withheld) told CrossRiverWatch.

Before the fire could spread and cause significant damage, the Federal fire service had arrived and put it out, the eyewitness said.

“This place needs total overhauling, all the electricals, the connections; they need to check everything. They need to look into the fire prevention and suppression system they have in place because I am not sure there is something formidable to combat fire. I am not even sure they have a sprinkler system,” another eyewitness, (name withheld), who arrived shortly after the fire had been put out told CrossRiverWatch.
