Appointments: Governor Otu Rolls Out 212 As Chairmen, SSAs, DGs, Others

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has appointed at least two hundred and twelve (212) into his government as Chairmen, Director-Generals, Senior Special Advisers, Director, and others into various ministries, boards, departments, and agencies.

The recent lists of appointments were contained in several press releases signed and made available by Governor Otu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gill Nsa, stating the appointments are with immediate effect.

“All the recently appointed persons by His Excellency the Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu into various positions and responsibilities in government are by this notice expected to abide by the schedule below for their mandatory documentation in the office of the Secretary to the State Government,” a public announcement reads.

Documentation for Special Advisers is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024. That of Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants are billed for Thursday and Friday, July 11th and 12th, 2024.

Similarly, documentation for Heads and members of Boards and Agencies is slated for Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th July 2024.

The announcement noted that the schedule is for orderliness and ease of handling for the desk staff.
