The former Vice Chairman of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Honorable Robert Hogan, is reportedly dead.
Robert Hogan who served as the Acting Chairman of the LGA passed in the early hours of Saturday August 24th, 2024.
The cause of his passing on can not be ascertained but sources say he had Blood Pressure spike when he returned from consultations on Friday night and was rushed to Asiukpo Medical Center, where his failed him.
His shocking demise is coming 18 months after the death of his predecessor, Honorable Esther Bassey who died on Friday 24th February 2023, less than 24 hours before the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The sudden departure of Hon. Robert, sends shockwaves across the LGA, communities, families and groups, leaving a trail of grief, and unfinished dreams.
Colleagues, friends, and indigents of Calabar South have poured out their hearts, remembering the deceased dedication, empathy, and unwavering commitment to the people.

“His leadership was a beacon of hope in a time of need,” said a counselor who craved anonymity. “We’ll deeply miss his guidance and vision.”
