Abducted Pregnant Woman Allegedly Gives Birth In Kidnapers Den, Pastor And In-law Going To Pay Her Ransom Kidnapped

A heavily pregnant woman who was abducted in place of her husband on October 4, 2024, has allegedly given birth.

The woman (name undisclosed) was kidnapped at Eseku Community, Creek Town of Odukpani Local Government Area of the state.

Having spent 16 days in the armed welding gunmen’s den, CrossRiverWatch gathered that she gave birth to yet-to-be-disclosed sex.

Sources had told CrossRiverWatch that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N15 million.

Her in-law and the Pastor in charge of Mount Zion Church in Eseku, went to pay ransom in a bid to get her and the baby released but were both kidnapped on their way.

The Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has not confirmed the incident when contacted but the state Commissioner of Police, CP Peter Opara said the Command will dispatch its tactical units to rattle the situation.
