CP Peter Ukachi Resumes As The 45th Cross River State Commissioner Of Police

CP Peter Ukachi Opara has resumed as the 45th Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Police Force.

At a ceremony held at the Command’s Headquarters, Diamond Hill, Calabar, included the formal inspection of the Sentry guard at the quarter guard, overseen by the Command’s Management Team.

In a press release issued and signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Irene Ugbo on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, CP Peter Ukachi succeeds CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah, who has been redeployed to Kaduna State Police Command.

The new Cross River State Police Boss, CP Peter Ukachi hails from lkeduru Local Government Area of Imo State. Before his posting to Cross River State Police Command, the CP served as a Deputy Force Secretary, Police Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Also, as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Department of Finance and Administration, Imo State Police Command; Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Legal Studies, Police Academy, Wudil, Kano; Area Commander Aba, Abia State Command; Area Commander, Uyo, Akwa lbom State.

Others include Head, Police Liaison Desk/Personal Assistant to Honorable Chairman, Police Service Commission, Abuja; Senior Deputy Defence Adviser (Police) Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations, New York, USA among others.

The 45th Cross River CP holds LL.M from the University of Jos 2003 – 2006; Barrister At Law (B.L) Nigeria Law School, March 1995. Also, LLB (Hons) Abia State University, Uturu, February 1994.
