In line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Cross River State Police Command has organized a local combat training program for 110 personnel in the state.
The training, aimed at enhancing the skills, efficiency, and physical fitness of officers, held at the Police Mobile Base in Calabar.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah, paid a visit to the training venue to address the personnel on the importance of the exercise.
CP Grimah said the initiative underscores the Command’s commitment to equipping officers with the necessary skills to effectively carry out their duties in service to the public.
Personnel drawn from various formations and tactical units participated, with the Assistant Commissioners of Police Operations, ACP Adewale O. Joshua, and the Squadron Commander, MOPOL 11, Calabar, ACP Dankwano D. Wilson coordinating the program.
The exercise was supervised by relevant units/tactical Commanders and instructors.
