The Government of Cross River State has announced the statewide monthly environmental sanitation exercise scheduled for Saturday, 29th March 2025.
In a public service announcement, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi, urged all business owners and residents to actively engage in the cleaning and evacuation of waste from their neighborhoods during the designated sanitation period.
This was contained in a public service announcement signed and made available by the Commissioner. To facilitate the effort, there will be a restriction on human and vehicular movements from 7:00AM to 10:00AM for those not on essential duty tomorrow.
He said defaulters who fail to comply with the sanitation regulations will face prosecution under the laws of Cross River State, while appealing to all citizens to take the opportunity and contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment.
