The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has appointed eleven into various positions.
The appointment contained in a press release issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gill Nsa, Professor Susan Etim is appointed as Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, and Professor Gertrude Njah as Chairman of the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Obubra.
Other appointees include Bishop Chris Obasse, Chief Otu Aya, and Dr. Richard Ogbeche as members of the Governing Council of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, and Professor Irom Bassey Okey, Ntufam Emmanuel Ntuyan, Chief Kingsley Bebia, and Barr. Lazarus Undie as members of the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Obubra.
The Governor has also appointed Catherine Ajibike (North) and Dr. Eddie Hogan as additional members of the Governing Council of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS).
A clergy, Reverend Father Bob Eta has also been appointed as Special Adviser on Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).
The press release states that the appointments are with immediate effect.
