Cross River Government Suspends April Monthly Sanitation

The Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu, has approved the suspension of environmental sanitation exercise for the month of April, 2025.

This was contained in a public service announcement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nsa Gill dated April 24, 2025.

The sanitation exercise was slated for 26th April, 2025 before the cancellation. According to the announcement, it is to enable movement for students and officials participating in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.

Residents and business proprietors are encouraged to uphold the ethos of cleanliness and environmental stewardship by tending to their surroundings, clearing drainages and gutters, and responsibly disposing of their waste.
