The Cross River State Police Command wish to inform the public that the Nigeria Police 2024/2025 recruits Constables currently in training at Police Training School (PTS), Calabar will commence shooting range at Asabanka, Anyanganse Community in Akpabuyo Local Government Area.
The shooting range is slated to commence on Wednesday 3rd through Sunday 7 September, 2025, at 8:AM daily.
By the announcement, the public, residents, farmers and passer-by of the said environment are warned not to engage in any activity within the vicinity until the exercise is over.
In a press release issued on Monday, September 1, 2025, by the State Command Police Spokesman, SP Irene Ugbo, urge residents to exercise patience for the slated dates and the inconvenience it may cause within the period.
The Command noted that this is to avoid being caught by stray bullets, traumatized or being scared by the sound.
