The Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, and the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, have felicitated the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu, on his 66th birthday.
The Deputy Governor in a Facebook wish said: “On this momentous occasion of your 66th birthday, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to you.
“As you celebrate this milestone, I reflect on the profound impact you have made as a leader, a visionary, and a servant of the people. Your dedication to fostering economic growth, empowering the youth, and enhancing agricultural development has set a remarkable precedent for future generations. You have not only been a guiding light for our state but also a source of inspiration for many.
“Your leadership embodies the essence of service, integrity, and compassion. You have faced challenges with resilience and have consistently prioritized the welfare of our citizens.
“Your Excellency, Sir, I continue to pray that the Almighty will grant you even more strength, wisdom, good health, and compassion to continue leading Cross River State to greater heights. May He sustain you in all your endeavors, and may your leadership remain a beacon of hope and progress for us all.
“Thank you for your dedication and service to our beloved state. Happy 66th Birthday”, he added.
Governor Otu, meanwhile, said his 66th years on earth, has always desired that his legacy be judged by the lives he touched.
