The Chief of Judge of Cross River State, His Lordship, Honorable Justice Akon B. Ikpeme will embark on a State wide tour of all Correctional Centers in the state.
This was communicated in a memo signed by the Chief Registrar, Iquo Ekanem, Esq., on behalf of the State Judicial Service Commission and addressed the Controller of Correctional Services, Cross River State Correctional Services, Headquarters, Calabar.
The memo request the availability of the facilities during the days of the tour. “All information needed in respect of all inmates under your custody in various Correctional Centers in the State as scheduled to aid the Honourable Chief Judge to have a successful tour.”
The schedule is as follows: Calabar- Tuesday, 11 November, 2025; Ogoja/Obudu – Thursday, 13th November, 2025; Ikom – Friday, 14th November, 2025 and Obubra/Adim – Saturday, 15h November, 2025.
All magistrates in the state are directed to join the tour as attendance will be taken.
