Just like the astronaut requires a space jacket before going to space, one of the most important requirements to come and live on planet Earth, apart from Oxygen, is SIN.
Without sin, no soul can incarnate on Earth. The moment your spirit accepts to take up flesh and come to live on planet Earth, it has signed on to an intercourse with sin, to be able to access its inner belly. Flesh is sin. Even the process that brings man to Earth, sex, is categorized as sin by man himself unless it is done under certain generally accepted conditions. Those conditions simply means we want some persons to sin differently or to sin in an acceptable manner.
Even Jesus, the Christ, had to become sin to be able to live amongst men on Earth. (2 Corinthians 5:21).
I am not preaching. I am not the Indaboski. Apart from that verse I quoted to tell you where Christ became sin, I don’t know if there is any verse in any religious text that supports this assertion I am making here other than common sense. There may be, but I don’t know. I am only telling you a fact you may not have realized. That sin, as bad as you may think of it, without it, you won’t be human, and you won’t be on Earth. You will be elsewhere; maybe heaven or paradise, where there is no sin.
So it’s alright to sin. It is alright to make mistakes. It’s alright to do all the crazy things that a vile and debased mind can imagine. But what is also commensurate to what is alright is that, every sin has a consequence, in the same manner every good has a reward. Surely as the Sun rises and sets, be ye not deceived, for God cannot be mocked, like Christ said, “Whatever a man sows, that he shall reap.” This is immutable.
So as you set about your business, the business of struggling and surviving, the business of living and dying, it is your choice to sin or not to. If you ask me, I will tell you that sin is inevitable. But, we must daily strive as much as we can, pray as much as we can and persist as much as we can, in asking God for strength to minimize our sins so that we will not be consumed by the same.
But if you conclude that because sin is required to live on Earth, therefore you will continue in sin, you must equally embrace the truism that Grace will not abound at the consequential threshold.
