  • The new CrossRiverWatch website is very poorly designed. The is repetition of news all over the site. Please go back to the website designer to make changes to the design and eliminate all the unnecessary repetitions!!! I hardly use your website theses days because of the annoying repetitions.

Your contact phone number is NOT IN SERVICE!!! No calls can be placed to your office! Haba!

    • I strongly agree with you that the new website is filled with repetitions. Clean it up and list each new item ONLY ONCE instead of the current practice of listing the same item 4 or more times.

  • This is just an exciting moment getting the global affect of turning the world.

  • The idea for the ‘justice for the ABANDONED YOUTHS of Nig invitiatives (A.Y.N),is borne out of d desire for change. Years of neglect & abandonment.
AYN is d voice for d voiceless patriotic, teamin employable-unemployed Youths that r totally’ alienated frm the scheme of thins such as employment, social blanket(#65,000 monthly),the rights to popular participation.

Unemployment is a symptom of a wider disease which must be urgently addressed.
We can’t afford to b silenc,we can’t die in hunger, the time for d youths to speck up is now, a close mouth is a close destiny .

  • These buildings are not expected steel buildings prices iowa to crack,
rot, and mould compared to wood and cement. Labor-intensive work needed for cutting, fitting, welding, and drilling are eliminated,
greatly reducing their over-all cost of construction as
well. Style and DesignThe physical look of the building will be perfectly square.
These structures offer great development, building administration,
exceptional size, and design of each room inside. Metal buildings,
because the material is strong and pliable.

  • Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my
4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

    • effckxYes, Donald looks the look and talks the talk but can he walk the walk? Tinapa sounds great and Obudu & the New Year cairvnals certainly seem to have boosted Cross River’s tourism, even if only within Nigeria, but are the schools in Cross River any better? The roads, the hospitals? And what happened to those pineapple plantations that were going to feed the world? I’m not in aposition to answer these questions, but perhaps those “on ground” can?I was disappointed once on a visit home to be overtaken on the 3rd Mainland Bridge by a siren-blaring motorcade escorting his wife and children somewhere…for me it’s many of these little things that count…although I find that these things can be catching. I’ve watched many friends inflate and deflate as they have ascended and descended the Nigerian political ladder…

  • Darkness usually disappeared on arrival of light because light and night cannot survive together. Such is the like of crossRiverWatch.. I hope and pray its reporteur will be devoid of favoritism by letting the light shine so deep to expose the good works as well as the shedy deals of our opportunistic politicians without being bias. Am also optimistic that crossRiverwatch would purposefuly serves as a medium through which individual performance of political office holders and Government effectiveness and ineffeciencies would be xrayed Then, a welcome development, you have my support!

  • Ogama, your description of the Cross River paper matches its exact operation. Only the die-hard “follow follow” petronize it.

  • It is obvious that the noticed idiosyncracy in recent Cross River State politics, particularly that of Obudu, has this while been predicated on the near total absence of a proximate medium of opinion. Consequently, CROSSRIVERWATCH is characteristically a welcome development. I strongly believe that public opinion, as condemning as political representation may be, has a definite way of shaping such conduct of politicians. What is obtainable today is politics of deceit, narrowing of public responsibilities and benefits to family/personal affairs and taking to own what is supposedly of public/collective appropriation. With this new medium, the sins of these covertious politicians will nonetheless be made public to thereby curb all notorious excesses. Such is the handling of contracts by representatives themselves rather than empowering/reciprocating the voting gesture of the electorates whose mandate they utilize. For us to have good governance, there is a requirement for constructive criticisms and the attendant need for a medium nearer to the grassroot. Such is doubtlessly CROSSRIVERWATCH.

  • This is very inspirational and should serve as information resevior for citizens both home and in diaspora. I recommend this to all who love Cross River and lets support this effort which is first of its kind since the State owned news print media (Nigerian Chronicle) is dead and has become the government robot and remote control.

  • This is colosal, it marks a turning in which consumers in this part of the country and the nation atlarge will have the rare instance of disinterested news reporting. I believe service will be devoid of subjectivity, frown at government flavour but retain some level of respect to make for a governable polity. I stand with you.
