A chain of reactions from Cross Riverians have continued to trail the just concluded local council elections in Cross River State.

In his reaction to an opinion article by APC Lawyer Barrister Obono Obla on CrossRiverWatch where he accused CROSIEC of having disregard for the Court, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Cross River State, Mr. Attah Ochinke responded and said the court never granted any injunction stopping the election.

In the thread posted on Cross River State Coalition For Change facebook page, several other commentators took on the Attorney General who maintained that the APC was not ready for the election.

One commentOn C’River LG Polls: War of Words Continue With The Attorney General

  • attah ochinke was a very hungry man before he was appointed commissioner, he is too afraid of the future. he will definitely go back to that state.

common sense, should attorney general of a state represent an independent electoral body in court? is the office of attorney general for the PDP or for the entire State?

I am not proud of such a lawyer, disgrace.
