Information reaching our newsroom indicate that another phase of gang war has erupted in Calabar South.

According to the anonymous sources “One Ecomoc has been killed along Egerton by Ewa Ekeng road minutes ago”.

Furthermore, another source revealed that, “Before being killed one Bassey was attacked and shot but he’s currently in an undisclosed hospital responding to treatment”.

As at the time of filing this report it was not clear the cause of the fight as rumors say it is connected to commercial transport ticketing and the gangs involve not known.
