Kidnapped Doctor, Emem Udoh Rescued, 17 Suspects Arrested

CrossRiverWatch can confirm that Dr. Emem Moses Udoh Dr. Emem, a Senior Registrar in the Paediatrics unit, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) kidnapped on Monday 8th of January, 2018 has been rescued from her abductors on Thursday and reunited with her family.

According to information available to our newsroom from the State Security Adviser, Mr. Jude Ngaji “We have arrested 17 of the gang members involved in the kidnapping of the Doctor, they will be prosecuted.

“The doctor was released yesterday after we went picking the guys involved one after the other from hotels and drinking joints. They began confessing after we picked them.” He said.

This came a day after Doctors in the State matched to the State Governor’s office.
