The Cross River State Consultative Forum (CRSCF) has rallied behind its Chairman, Hon. Barr. Eyo Nsa Ekpo, following his appointment as Secretary, Contact and Mobilization, South-South, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, describing the development as a fitting reward for a lifetime of service to the people.
In a statement issued in Calabar and signed by the group’s Treasurer, Sir Maurice Effiwatt, and Secretary, Dr. Julius Okputu, the CRSCF said the appointment was not merely a recognition of Ekpo’s exceptional leadership, dedication, and organizational capacity, but a clear testament to the sterling qualities of a man who has committed his life to the service of the people of Cross River State and the advancement of progressive politics in Nigeria.
“His years of grassroots engagement, community development, and political mobilization have prepared him for this significant national assignment,” the statement said.

“A man prepared for the moment”, the group expressed confidence that Ekpo would discharge the responsibility of his new office with the same integrity, competence, and passion that have defined his leadership of the CRSCF.
As Secretary of Contact and Mobilisation Directorate for the South-South, Ekpo will be responsible for building strategic relationships, coordinating grassroots engagement, and ensuring that the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches every community across the six states of the region.
The CRSCF said it had “no doubt” that he would deliver on the mandate.

“Support for Tinubu, Otu Reaffirmed”, CRSCF reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Tinubu’s re-election and for Governor Bassey Edet Otu’s second term.
It called on all its members, coordinators across the 18 local government areas, and the good people of Cross River State to extend the same support to Ekpo in his new role.
“Together, we will work to deliver victory for the APC in 2027,” the group said.
The statement ended with a congratulatory message: “Congratulations, Hon. Barr. Eyo Nsa Ekpo. Onward to victory!”
