The stage is set for The Brook Church football team to represent Cross River State at the grand finally of Jesus cup, scheduled to hold in Lagos State.
This was made possible as The Brook Church defeated Honeystreams with a 6-5 victory at the preliminary stage finals of Jesus Cup qualifying them for the finals in Lagos come October.
Speaking at the finals the Senior Pastor of The Brook Church, Pastor Ose Imiemohon, commended the organizers for the initiative.
Stating that “The initiative exalts Jesus Christ and its an evangelistic tool to win more souls into the kingdom of God”.
He further enjoined everyone to support the Movement of Hope for Nigeria.
Presenting certificates to The Brook Church, Ambassadors of Golden Stardom Mr. Noble Eze Oluchukwu admonished members of other denomination to give their full support to The Brook Church as they move to the finals.
“The Brooks’ victory is certainly victory for all denominations represented in the State, hence I enjoin all to collaborate and support The Brook as they prepare to play qualifiers from seven other States, at the National level”. He said.
He further added that the competition is an opportunity to discover new talents.
“The Movement of Hope for Nigeria has just begun, the project involves sixty four denominations in Nigeria.
“Skillful players are on their way to golden stardom, as they are scouted and signed up with their dream clubs”. He concluded.
