Supreme Court Judgment: The Negative Audacity Of Executive Power Should Be Discarded – Sen. Sandy Onor

By Archibong Jeremiah

The Senator representing Cross River Central, Sen. Sandy Onor has said that the current internal crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the State is as a result of lack of consultation by the Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade.

Addressing journalists he said the yet to be sighted Supreme Court judgment is victory to those who believe in truth.

According to him, “When you’re voted into office as Governor, you must understand that you don’t automatically transmogrify into a God, you’re still man. If you have stakeholders consult them, consult the people that has been the process in Cross River.

“But when you have somebody who doesn’t understand the political culture and he is not willing to learn, you have these kind of breaches and abuses.”
