Listen To The Report
I, Isaac Ibok Eyo unequivocally state that I am a law-abiding citizen and have no hand or involvement in the kidnapping incident which occurred in Arthur Jarvis University Akpabuyo or any other kidnappings in Cross River State. Therefore those calling my name or trying to rope me into any kidnapping case are warned to desist forthwith.
Out of good conscience, I have assisted various security agencies in the past and present to tackle kidnapping cases. As a former warlord, I understand the damaging consequences of allowing insecurity to thrive hence my resolve to fight it.
In the wake of fighting insecurity, I have suffered personal loss and injuries. Kidnappers and other criminal gangs have viewed me as a threat and betrayer to their course. And worst still, some security agents, through the use of technology, view my selfless effort in assisting to apprehend criminal gangs with other security agencies at a time as an accomplice, compromise, and a threat.
For this reason, I want to officially appeal to the State Security and Ayade Government to give ME and OTHERS working with security agencies some sort of identification and backing to enable us to confidently contribute our effort in fighting crime and criminals in Cross River.
Henceforth I appeal to all security agencies to invite me for clarification on any allegation which may rise against me while I pledge my continuous commitment in assisting them to fight crime in the State. I am committed.
