Social Democratic Party (SDP) Deputy Governorship candidate in Cross River State, Mr. Daniel Obo has officially defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The defection took place in his Obubra Urban Ward in Obubra LGA, Central Senatorial District of the State.
He defected with some SDP ward Chairmen. He was received into the party by the Ward and Local Government Chairmen of Obubra.
Dignitaries at the event include Speaker, CRSHA, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams, APC Deputy Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, Member House of Reps, Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba, Deputy Leader of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hilary Bisong, Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Rt. Hon. George O’ben-Etchi, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Janet David Ekpenyong, SA Climate Change, Chief Cyril Anthony, Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar among many others.
