Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State has assured that his administration would consolidate on its achievements recorded in various sectors in the out gone year.
Imoke also reaffirmed that many of the projects embarked upon by his administration would be completed within the year.
Some of the projects include the Institute of Technology and Management, Ugep, the multi-billion naira Calabar International Convention Centre, the ultra modern Ikom and Ogoja Stadia, and the 6 kilometers Airport Bypass amongst others.
In a New Year message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita, Governor Imoke assured the people of strengthening and sustaining the existing peace currently being enjoyed in the State.
On the economy of the state, the governor reassured that: “My administration will remain unrelentingly focused on developing the economy of Cross River State into a service-driven and knowledge based economy; one that every Cross Riverian will be proud of”.
