UNICAL Graduate, Rachel Nengi Diagnosed Of Acute Angiosarcoma, Needs NGN9 Million For Life Saving Surgery

UNICAL graduate, Miss. Rachel Nengi Fubara, and fashion designer needs Nine Million Naira for life saving surgery in India.

Rachel, a model, fashion designer and a graduate of Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Calabar was diagnosed in 2017 with acute angiosarcoma, a cancerous tumor located at her groin.

Prior to that, she wore a compression tight for two years with the hope that the painful swelling on her leg will go away but it didn’t.

January this year, Nengi did her first surgery, but doctors didn’t remove all the malignant masses.

Nengi needs to go to India for further medical treatment which includes another operation and chemotherapy.
