APC CRISIS: Etim John And Myself Were Not Allowed To Vote At National Convention – Mathew Achigbe (AUDIO)

By Ilam Patricia

A former factional Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Cross River State Chapter Dr. Mathew Achigbe has revealed that neither his executive nor that of Mr. Etim John voted at the last National Convention of the APC in Abuja.

Dr. Achigbe contrary to the claim of Mr. John that he voted alongside some of his exco members at the Convention added that he had the benefit of witnessing the event.

The party Chieftain was speaking on the crisis rocking the party in the State, on “The Dialogue With Agba Jalingo”, on Hit 95.9FM, where he said that they decided to hold their own congress in the State after the Etim John faction had flaunted the rules of the party.

Dr. Achigbe expressed optimism that the crisis rocking the party is almost coming to an end, as the National leaders of the APC are putting up “a political solution” that will be acceptable to all parties.

He concluded by maintaining that he will abide by the solution the party leadership will present.
