Mr. Jesse Ejemot Esu, an APC aspirant for the House of Representatives (Akamkpa/Biase), has assured that if given the mandate he will transform the constituency through meaningful representation.
Esu, a former Adviser to Governor Ayade on Job Placement, who resigned to vie for a seat in the Green Chambers in his manifesto made available to CrossRiverWatch, , stated that “I will build permanent constituency offices in Akamkpa and Akpet central, these constituency offices will encourage proper representation, as well as make the effect of the office maximally felt.
“The office of the representative is in Abuja, it is far too removed from the constituency to be maximally felt. I will thus build an office each in Akamkpa and Akpet Central which will serve as permanent constituency offices”, He said
The former Special Adviser outlined some of his intentions for the constituents. They include; Employment, Empowerment Programs, and Creation of Constituency offices.
Others are; institution of scholarship programs for undergraduates, graduates and doctorate degree holders, provision of vocational trainingfor the people as well as setting up a football club that will serve as breeding ground for young football stars.
Among all he maintained that his major drive to the House of Representatives is to effectively make legislation that will make Nigeria a better place with his constituents in mind.
