Chilion International Secondary School has held its annual, inter-house sport for staff and students of the school.
The inter house sport which took place at the school premises, Ikot Enebong, 8 Miles Calabar, comprised of different categories of games such as; football, athletics, match-past and javelin, where winners emerged from the three houses that competed; Red Green house and Blue house.
Winners from the different games received trophies.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Otobong Clement, the Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the students as well as the staff for their untiring effort in uplifting the sporting spirit among the school children.
He said, games are an essential part of the school’s activities for the physical wellbeing of the students and staff.
According to him, “For this reason, the Federal Ministry of Education in line with the National Policy on Education ensures that sports activities are organized not only within the schools but between schools”.
He concluded by urging all to play safe during the games.
Also, the wife to the Proprietor of the fast growing school, Mrs. Theresa Agba gave a brief speech urging parents to send their children and wards to Chilion International School.
