Election Aftermath: Mobile Policemen Fights, Threaten To Kill Each Other In Calabar

By CrossRiverWatch Admin

Some Mobile Policemen attached to the Cross River State INEC Headquarters this evening (Monday) (6:30pm) staged a mild drama as two officers engaged in fisticuffs.

The incident occurred immediately after they were briefed by one of their senior officers.

It all started with argument between two who ended up with exchange of punches. The officers were arguing about their agility as regards their primary assignment in yesterday’s election.

The tall dark one dressed in full gear and others we’re obviously angry at another colleague wearing red shirt on his uniform trousers because according to them he absconded when they were under siege.

After heated conversation they both started fighting before their senior officers and others came in to separate them.

In the course of flexing muscle they almost shot at each other which further tensed the environment with everyone running into hiding for fear of stray bullets.

It took the over 5 minutes of heated arguments, rounds of gun corking before they were both disarmed and queried by their superiors.

As the time of filing this report, it was unclear the outcome of the situation.
