The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution plc (PHED) in a public service announcement has expressed its dissatisfaction over the current intermittent disruption in power supply experienced in its franchise area: Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, and River State.
The announcement was made on its Facebook page.
It revealed that the cause of the power outage and epileptic supply is a result of limited supply from the national grid.
“We are in touch with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and we believe that steady supply will be restored as soon as the system is stabilized,” the statement reads in part.
The PHED apologized for the inconvenience while also working towards rectifying and restoring the normal service delivery.
