An unidentified officer of Nigeria’s Vehicle Inspection Agency, VIO in Cross River State has been asked to replace a vehicle’s windscreen he destroyed.
The officer, CrossRiverWatch understands, was on duty at Obubra, on the ever-busy Ikom-Calabar highway when the incident happened.
Elijah Ugani, a journalist who posted the incident on his Facebook wall said: “VIO broke driver windscreen at Obubra, driver blocked the highway.
“When contacted, the Director of VIO in Cross River State, Engr. Paul Bepeh directed that the officer who broke the windscreen should replace the damaged windscreen.”
The incident happened penultimate Monday.
